The Boat Launch was constructed in 2016 with grant funds from Gwaii Trust, NDIT and the Government of Canada. The floating dock is reinstalled every May and removed in October for seasonal storage. The launch is suitable for launching powerboats, small skiffs, and kayaks and is utilized by recreational and commercial boaters, as well as agencies such as Parks Canada and the Coast Guard.

The Village would like to remind all Boat Launch users of parking guidelines. Those not adhering to posted signage, including solo trailers, will be ticketed and may be towed. Summer is a busy season and we appreciate everyone's consideration of other users.

• Please follow posted signage for parking.
• Vehicles without trailers - please use parking beside helipad and/or roadside parking.
• All trailers must be hitched to a vehicle.
• Vehicles with trailers should park in main lot for ease of access and then use the highway shoulder as overflow.
